19. Can I Let Someone Else Drive the Rental Car?
A: You will need to list additional drivers on your rental contract at the time of pick up. If someone else drives the hire car without our consent your contract may be terminated and you will be fully liable for any third party claims.
20. Can I check out the condition of the hire Car?
A: You will be asked to inspect the hire vehicle with a member of staff and agree and sign for any existing damage before the hire vehicle leaves the premises.
21. Is off-roading permitted?
A: No, this is strictly prohibited in our Terms & Conditions.
22. Is smoking permitted in the vehicles?
A: No, it is illegal to smoke in a hire vehicle in the UK. All of our hire vehicles have no smoking stickers in them.
23. What happens if I'm involved in a road traffic collision?
A: First, seek medical attention if necessary. You should then take the relevant details of persons involved and make us aware.
24. What should I do if my vehicle breaks down?
A: A telephone number for breakdown assistance is provided on the rental agreement and should be used in the first instance. If you cannot get the required help from the AA or RAC, a mobile number is provided on our answer phone.
25. Do you offer accessories with your rentals?
A:Yes, we offer Sat Nav, Sack Barrows and European Aid Bags. We have some car seats - these should be booked in advance.
26. Is there an additional charge for fuel?
We run a ‘full to full’ hire policy. Any additional fuel that we need to put into the hire vehicle will be charged, plus a 15% handling charge. We would prefer you re-fuel the hire vehicle prior to returning it to us.
27. Do you let your hire vehicles go abroad?
A: Yes, we offer a full European hire package including insurance, breakdown cover, all necessary documentation (V103b copy log book). We also include European sat nav hire and a first aid bag that contains – warning triangle fluorescent jacket, first aid kit & spare lamps.
